Dear Prof. Dr Sahrim Hj Ahmad,
APPEAL FOR TRANSFER TO NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF MALAYSIA
I am writing to appeal for transfer to the undergraduate program, Bachelor of Science with Honours (Marine Science) at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). Currently, I am offered Bachelor of Applied Science (Sustainable Science) with Honours in UMK. However, I am confident that I want to transfer to UKM due to the following reasons:
1) My goal is to study marine biology in order to pursue my dream as a marine biologist. I am very interested in the research of lifecycle and genetic characterising of Malaysia’s rich and untapped marine resources to improve human lives. The combination of research and fieldwork in marine biology would be of no problem and is a perfect fit for me as I am passionate about biology, the ocean and I am physically fit.
2) The only marine biology courses in Malaysia are offered in government universities. Thus, knowing this I have chosen to go through STPM for my pre-university qualification in hopes that I would secure a course that I wanted to pursue. Although other private institutes do offer undergraduate marine biology courses like HELP University, it is in the form of transfer programmes to high-cost countries like America which is too exorbitant for my family to afford. Whilst the only other option left is the relatively new BSc (Hons) Aquatic Science offered by UCSI this year(2015). However, the course is not certified by the education of ministry yet and the fees set by UCSI is also too exorbitant for my family’s financial constraint.
3) I am sure that my aim is to study in UKM because the knowledge I would acquire about marine life like the expertize of Sea Urchin ecology and biology by the acknowledged professors in UKM like En. Kee Alfian Abdul Adzis and advanced research facilities like EKOMAR would greatly help me with my dream in taking part in marine biotech research, particularly the gene characterising of Sea Urchins as a potential aid for damaged tissues and major diseases like Alzheimer’s.
4) In addition to my passion for UKM’s marine biology course, my household is in Selangor and my brother studies in UKM. I would like to study near to my family so that my parents would not worry about me and I could return home often to spend time with them.
Given the result of my highest education, STPM which is of CGPA 4.00 and my Grade A co-curricular marking during Form 6, I am certain that I am worthy of your time. I have researched the program and determined that the research profile of UKM is first class and is my only hope to pursue my dream as a qualified marine biologist.

一开始说明目的啦，拿到什么Offer，想转去什么科系。
然后就说自己的梦想啦，很想进到这个科系，然后说明自己有能力读这个科系。
过后打经济牌，就是说没有钱读私人大学啦，也是变相说政府大学很便宜，过后打认证牌，变相说政府大学的认证没问题。
然后就是赞那间大学，还有就是赞那里的教授XD
说好话来提升成功率。
还有就是亲情牌哦，有家人在UKM读书，而且时常回家也是变相说孝顺父母，关心家人哦。
关心家人的话，很大可能就是关心国家的人了。
过后再写明目的，然后就是说有交什么文件啦。
又是一个成功例子XD
